Our 2003 Raffle Quilt, "Road to Patriotism",
is made from the "Road to Oklahoma" block,
and is 88" X 98".

JoAnn Winters pieced the top,
and it was then machine quilted by Catherine Lovett
of Quilted Memories.

JoAnn's Quilt Story:
"I was given 42 of these blocks as a door prize. The blocks had been made as part of a swap in a small quilt group of Northwest Quilters. When I got the blocks home I realized I wanted a much larger quilt, so I got my fabrics out and started making blocks in the same color scheme. I made another 40+ blocks and half-blocks. No fabric is used twice in the quilt. I added fabrics that represent favorite things for me. You will find angel prints, watermelon, apple pie, chickens and lots of cats!"
The color scheme of JoAnn's quilt inspired the theme for our first Quilt Contest.
